Dahlia Card and KARDS FOR KIDS - Toronto's Sick Children's Hospital cards

This is a card that I created while
I was on-line with Lilscrappers last weekend for their 2nd On-line crop.

Michy, one of their Design Team Members had us create this card. I enjoy Michy's tutorials. I am not very crafty on dimensional embellishments, unless they are coloured images and pop-dotted LOL.
So this is my take on that fun challenge.


This card is made up of:

Chatterbox paper
Bella's Baubles
Rhinestone brad Local $ Store
Crystal Blue Cardstock, CTMH.

I didn't have any ribbon to match so I used a left over peice of cardstock, stamped it with a
"G-stamps Clear stamp" and adhered it across the middle. My flowers weren't folded perfectly. I enjoyed seeing the cards that the other members created on Lilscrappers.ca. The crop was inspirational, challenging and as wonderful as the last one.

I even won a RAK from Michy. I can't wait to see what she sends me for my "Happy Mail."

Many of you know that I make cards for the children at
Toronto's Sick Children's Hospital. A bunch of my friends create cards with me to send to the children. We sent some fun ones at Christmas time. They were displayed in, "Marnie's Lounge."
I am actually going to the hospital on the 26th of May.

I proposed an idea to the wonderful owner of Lilscrappers.ca Bev and she and her DT, Carla came up with a way that I can get those talented ladies over there working for a great cause. Carla came up with "KARDS FOR KIDS" name.

The forum is a fun place to be. I am in there all the time, creating, chatting, thinking up new chats or responding to posts. It is my evening of Peppermint Tea and scrapping knowledge. The forum gears to cards, scrapbooks, altered art and so much more.

For the next month, I will be sharing my cards for, KARDS FOR KIDS and please if you do decide to join in on the creative fun, please remember to NOT add any embellishments. You can make your own....now if that isn't a challenge for you to bite on...I don't know what is.
